If you’re a Nintendo gamer and have never seen a Rabbid before, you might be the only one. Whether you’ve bought the titles or not, these wacky critters have had a number of releases, of varying standards and styles, released on the Wii and DS. Their ubiquitous nature has made them mascots of sorts for Ubisoft, and the release of Rabbids 3D on the 3DS sees them go up against their former master, Rayman. UK launch line-up of games for Nintendo 3DS

Nintendo has revealed the UK launch line-up of games for Nintendo 3DS. Nintendo told ONM that Pilotwings Resort will be available to buy when 3DS is released on 25 March alongside the likes of Nintendogs + Cats and Super Street Fighter IV 3D. There has been plenty of speculation about the launch line-up since Nintendo’s 3DS preview event in Amsterdam last month but now Nintendo has finally announced that there will be 13 games available to buy on day one. Face Raiders and AR Games on Nintendo 3DS

This week at GDC 2011 I was able to preview a couple of the pre-installed software titles included with every new 3DS. Here’s the lowdown on Face Raiders and AR Games. Face Raiders is an augmented-reality title that involves taking a picture of a friend using the stereoscopic cameras on the front of your 3DS. The game warps your face a bit and places it on these floating villains. The game places these little villains all around you using augmented reality. They come at you from all angles, so you have to use the camera to find them and shoot them. It’s surpisingly more entertaining than a blazé description of the events would suggest. Seriously. What is best selling Nintendo 3DS game 2011?what is your favorite Nintendo 3DS game so far,Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracle has become the best-selling 3DS game in Japan. We picked up all the launch titles for the 3DS in Japan. Well, all of them except Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracle because its the only game that is way too reliant on understanding the language. And that’s why it’s sort of amusing to share that this latest Layton adventure has become the best-selling game out of the launch titles. The game sold 117,589 copies, which means that over 25% of people who bought a 3DS also bought Professor Layton. That’s a pretty darn good attach-rate. 10 Sega Games should be on 3DS

3DS has got a pretty promising line-up of titles from third-party publishers, with day one support from Capcom, Konami, Sega, EA and more, and plenty more to come in the future. That said, we put our thinking caps on here at Nintendo Life to think of which titles we want to see from publishers in the future, starting from Nintendo’s old rival: SEGA. The blue company only has two games confirmed for 3DS: Super Monkey Ball 3D and the inevitable, ever-looming presence of Sonic the Hedgehog making his presence known with an ill-advised 3D platformer.
