Nintendo is preparing for the launch of its new handheld games device by registering a number of new trademarks in Japan.Although the company has yet to confirm the official name of the device we believe it will be called the Nintendo 3DS, and these latest trademark registrations back that up. Here’s the four trademarks relating to the 3DS:

•3DSPlay
•3DSWare
It could be argued that Nintendo is just trademarking for protection and may not use those names, but we haven’t heard another name used for the 3DS or seen any other trademarks being registered.here are some list of Nintendo N3DS FAQ.

Q: What is Nintendo N3DS?
A: I’ts a new Nintendo DS console with 3D effect without need of any 3D glasses. And remember, DS stands for DUAL-SCREEN, so it has 2 screen. It has a 3.5 inch widescreen display for its top screen with a smaller bottom touch screen.

Q: When Nintendo N3DS released?
A: Between 2010 – 2011 March.

A: It might have some kind of online store where you could buy them. And 3DS probably has good enough capabilities to run n64 emulator via flashcarts (If there will be some).

A: Nintendo says the unit will have improved graphical capabilities. It will also have an analog control input in addition to a D-pad and four face buttons. Also the unit will feature a slide pad, a gyrosensor, and motion sensor on the handheld. It’s compatible with Nintendo DSi games.

A: The 3DS has two camera lenses on the outside so you can also take photos with the 3DS and view them in 3D. The 3D effects are controlled by a slider on the unit, so in that sense they’re optional.

Nintendo also mentioned the 3DS will be able to display 3D Hollywood movies, from Disney, Warner Bros., and Dreamworks.

The hardware in the 3DS supports wireless communication regardless of what software is being played, and can access the web through Wi-Fi access points.

Top Screen:3.53-inch widescreen LCD display, enabling 3D view without the need for special glasses; with 800×240 pixel resolution (400 pixels are allocated for each eye to enable 3D viewing).

Cameras:One inner camera and two outer cameras with 640×480 (0.3 Mega) pixel resolution. Along wit the ability to take 3D pictures.

Wireless Communication:Can communicate in the 2.4 GHz band. Multiple Nintendo 3DS systems can connect via a local wireless connection to let users communicate or enjoy competitive game play. Systems also can connect to LAN access points to access the Internet and allow people to enjoy games with others. Will support IEEE 802.11 with enhanced security (WPA/WPA2). Nintendo 3DS hardware is designed so that even when not in use, it can automatically exchange data with other Nintendo 3DS systems or receive data via the Internet while in sleep mode.

Game Controls:
Touch screen, embedded microphone, A/B/X/Y face buttons, + Control Pad, L/R buttons, Start and Select buttons, “Slide Pad” that allows 360-degree analog input, one inner camera, two outer cameras, motion sensor and a gyro sensor.

A: Most likely but it doesn’t have to be 2 separate. 3DS can also stand for 3 Dimensional System or 3D SuperHand Held. The term DS stands for 2 things, Dual-Screen, and for Dev’s it’s Developers System.
