Call of Duty: Black Ops review

But it HAS done a bery good job of delivering an explosive, interesting and inventive single-player experience, and for the first time in the series history they’ve actually given it some brains.Black Ops starts as you wake up on an interrogation chair, bright lights in your eyes and an unseen, robotic voice shouting demands at you from behind frosted glass. You’re Alex Mason, a highly skilled Studies and Observations Group operative with a mysterious past and information that someone, … Read entire article »

Xbox Kinect Vs PlayStation Move review

Keywords :Xbox Kinect,PlayStation Move, xbox kinect games, review of xbox kinect, kinect xbox 360,xbox 360 kinect review Kinect’s part of the future of TV entertainment, but Move is more for serious gamers It seems like a lifetime since we first caught wind of Microsoft’s idea for motion-control gaming, and even longer since we were writing about Sony’s Wii-challenging light wand. Both are now in homes and both will be vying for your cash this Christmas. We’ve spent a week living with the Kinect and Move, so which one gets our vote? Xbox Kinect Vs PlayStation Move: Set up   Xbox Kinect Unlike playing Wii, which for the majority means picking up a controller, turning on the console and getting your swing on, just setting up the Kinect is an occasion. Because it picks up full body movement, everything within … Read entire article »

Fable 3 review

Keywords :Fable 3 release date,Fable III ,Fable 3 review,Fable 3 guide The King-half (quarter) of Fable III feels meaningful, fresh and immersive – it’s just a shame that it’s over so quickly. Ignore side quests, pie-making and messing around with the palace cleaners, and you can storm through your Royal duties in little over two hours.  Although we concede that the run-up to Kinghood is absolutely part of the pay-off – and in its own right a well-paced, dramatic and entertaining chapter of traditional Fable – we were disappointed the King section wasn’t further exploited. Another niggle is that where Mass Effect 2′s ending gives players fair warning that ‘pressing A’ could result in a game-ruining finale if unprepared, Fable III’s own risky conclusion forgets to give us a final opt-out point. It’s … Read entire article »

Fallout: New Vegas review

Keywords: fallout new vegas, fallout new vegas cheats, fallout new vegas review, new vegas map,Fallout 3 An ambitious mutation of Fallout 3 hamstrung by outdated tech  Have you played Fallout 3? If so, then you’ll like Fallout: New Vegas. The writing is better, there’s more to do and a lot has been improved, but the actual minute-to-minute experience of playing it is identical – flaws and all. So while there are more weapons and ways to customise your character, combat is still flimsy and inconsistent. The story and dialogue are better, but the characters remain impossibly ugly and stiffly animated. NPCs (non-playing charactors) still occasionally sit beside chairs rather than on them – just one of a hundred dumb (but not game-breaking) glitches that have marred Bethesda’s engine since it was first used in Oblivion four years … Read entire article »

Splatterhouse Review

Keyword:Splatterhouse Review,Splatterhouse game, xbox game review, xbox 360 games, splatterhouse ps3,splatterhouse release date, splatterhouse limited edition, splatterhouse trailer Splatterhouse was always the video game equivalent of an exploitation flick. In an era where games were dominated by perky is here, but like so many horror movie villains, its childhood trauma has left it broken and twisted in the journey to bloody adulthood. Between poor level design, boring combat, and hamfisted attempts at over-the-top explicit content, Splatterhouse is a mess. The remake of an 80s arcade title (that went on to appear on most home consoles of the 8 and 16 bit era), Splatterhouse starts out more or less the same way the original did – protagonist Rick is lying in a pool of his own blood (and, on closer examination, intestines) as Dr. West drags his girlfriend … Read entire article »
